Located along Iowa Highway 191, this steel stringer bridge crosses an unnamed tributary of Mosquito Creek.
Built in 1949 to replace an older bridge, the bridge features three steel stringer spans, set onto concrete substructures. The bridge also features a timber ballasted deck.
It is unknown what the previous bridge was, although older concrete abutments are still visible below the current bridge. It is likely that this bridge was built due to channelizing Mosquito Creek.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with minimal deterioration to the bridge.
The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
